Within participation in the 4th SUE “Tajikairnavigation” of Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and Air Traffic Management Bureau of the Civil Aviation Administration of the People’s Republic of China CNS/ATM Coordination meeting and signing of Letter of Agreement between Dushanbe and Urumqi ACCs Chinese delegation visited the Historical and Cultural Reserve of Hisor and had seen from Ark, Askarkhona, Amphitheater, Kasri Hokim, craft workshops and souvenir galleries. The tour guide of the historical and cultural reserve of the city gave the guests brief information about the three thousand years history of Hisor.

The Historical and Cultural Reserve is considered one of the oldest examples of architectural art of the Tajik people, including the Hisor Fortress, Registan, Old Madrasah, New Madrasah, Caravan-Saray, Chashmai Mohiyon Mosque, Sangin Mosque, Mausoleum Makhdumi Azam, Historical Museum, located in the building of the Old Madrasah. Unique monuments and exhibits (more than 3200 specimens) found during excavations on the territory of Hisor city and beyond are presented here.

   

During the independence with the initiative Head of the State dear Emomali Rahmon special attention was paid to the history and culture of Tajik nation and revived example of national ancient heritage has been presented to the new generation. The inclusion of Hisor Fortress in the list of UNESCO monuments is the result of the Leader of the Nation effort to revive and preserve national heritage.
