From November 2 to 6, 2026, the RDGE/34 and ICAO Workshop on Civil-Military Collaboration and Flexible Use of Airspace (FUA) took place in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by representatives of international organizations, national air navigation service providers (ANSPs), civil aviation authorities from Eastern European and Central Asian countries, airlines, airports, and military entities, as well as staff from the State Unitary Enterprise “Tajikairnavigation”.

During the meeting and seminar, discussions focused on developing mechanisms to coordinate the activities of civil and military air traffic management services, exploring the possibility of abolishing permanent restricted military zones, optimizing eastern air routes, implementing ICAO environmental initiatives, and harmonizing aviation standards.

At the same time, the simplification of regulatory procedures and the strengthening of cooperation among neighboring countries were discussed, with the aim of ensuring a seamless and safe transit airspace.

It was noted that the primary objective of the event is to enhance the transit capacity of Central Asian countries, improve the coordination of civil and military flights, reduce flight times and associated costs, and prevent flight delays and cancellations.

The participation of specialists from the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” in such international events provides a favorable foundation for the exchange of experience, strengthening of professional cooperation, and familiarization with modern processes and requirements within the air navigation sector.
