A roundtable discussion was hosted at the State Unitary Enterprise “Tajikairnavigation” aiming to enhance legal literacy, strengthen the status of women in society, and implement state policy on gender equality.

The event was attended by Shahnoza Gulakova, Chair of the Committee on Women Affairs at the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, along with female employees of the enterprise. Discussions focused on equal rights and opportunities for women and men, the role of women in the development of society and the state, and their active participation in professional and public life.

During the event, it was noted that, thanks to the initiatives and constructive policies of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Honourable Emomali Rahmon, special attention is being paid to elevating the status of women in society and creating favourable opportunities for their education and professional pursuits.

It was emphasized that Tajik women, alongside playing a vital role in raising the younger generation, are actively participating in various spheres of public life today—including the economy, education, healthcare, science, and the civil service—thereby making a significant contribution to the country’s development.

Roundtable participants noted that gender equality is a key factor in the sustainable development of society. It was emphasized that creating favorable conditions for women professional activities and effectively utilizing their intellectual and professional potential contribute to the state's continued development.

In conclusion, it was noted that the development of the state is inconceivable without the active participation of women. Educated, proactive, and patriotic women make a significant contribution to strengthening national values, developing society, and nurturing the younger generation.
