On 20 February 2026, the solemn event dedicated to the Armed Forces Day of the Republic of Tajikistan was hosted at the State Unitary Enterprise “Tajikairnavigation” with the participation of the enterprise management and employees.

 

The event was opened by Davron Shodmonbekzoda, First Deputy General Director of the enterprise, and on behalf of the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” General Director, Begijonzoda Loik Begijon congratulated attendees on the holiday of courage, bravery, loyalty to the Motherland and the people, as well as fortitude. It was noted that, despite being established during a difficult and unstable period, the National Army of the Republic of Tajikistan has, over the past three decades, become a well-organized, stable, and combat-ready structure.

“The national army is one of the main pillars of statehood and the defence of independence. In the early years of independence, thanks to the efforts and leadership of the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, during the difficult historical conditions, the National Army of Tajikistan was established and transformed into a systematic structure. We must value peace and stability in the country and contribute to its strengthening”, – emphasized Sirojzoda Emomnazar, Chief of Staff to the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” General Director.

In the continuation Hamida Pochoeva, a specialist HR Department of the enterprise, mentioned the role of the National Army in modern Tajik society, emphasizing that achieving independence and self-sufficient statehood, strengthening peace, stability and national unity, fostering a sense of patriotism, spiritual awakening, national pride, and the preservation of national values and symbols of statehood all lead us to the construction of a civil society, sustainable economic and social progress, and the achievement of new goals.

“Serving the country is one of the highest expressions of love and loyalty to the land of the ancestors. Of course, not everyone can be entrusted with such a great responsibility. Being a soldier is a high honour and a responsible duty. We must always appreciate the hard work and sacrifices of our soldiers and officers”, – stressed Ozoda Kholikova in her speech.

Guljahon Davlatova expressed her opinions regarding the National Army to strengthen security, state independence, peace, stability, and tranquility in the country, noting that today the National Army is staffed by qualified specialists with high professional knowledge and skills, as well as modern equipment and technology, and has become a regular army with modern units and divisions.

At the end of the event, it was emphasized that the National Army today serves as a reliable shield for the state, a defender of peace, unity and the integrity of the borders and homeland of Tajikistan. Fortunately, the people of Tajikistan see the National Army as their defender and protector and are taking steps towards creativity and constructiveness. After all, the National Army is the main pillar of the state and a reliable shield for the nation, faithfully defending our beloved homeland.

Preserving independence, sacred and inviolable, is a great achievement and an invaluable asset, the protection and strengthening of which is the duty of the state and every self-respecting and self-confident citizen of this border and nation.
