From September 16 to 19, 2025, Dushanbe hosted the special meeting of the RDGE-SCM/2025 Regional Coordination Group, which is being held in cooperation with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), which brought together 54 representatives from 12 countries, influential organizations of the field, including the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA), airlines and airports.

The event was organized by the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” under the wise policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, on turn Republic of Tajikistan into a transit country, during which the Republic of Tajikistan has become a major arena for discussing air traffic issues and solving existing problems in the provision of air navigation services, while simultaneously introducing modern methods of providing air navigation services.

During this event, specialists discussed key issues, including developing proposals for simplifying routes, ways to continuously increase the number of flights, trends and changes in routes, improving route infrastructure, new PBN approach procedures, and reducing flight distances and times. Taking into account the mutual interests of the participating parties and the proposals of industry experts, it was decided to include proposals for a new routes catalogue of the RDGE-SCM air traffic management organization plan for 2025–2026.

 

In order to support the government’s goal of developing tourism and promoting Tajik culture, as well as increasing the number of tourists, SUE “Tajikairnavigation” organized a cultural tour for guests, during which they became closely acquainted with the architectural culture of the Tajiks.

It is worth noting that holding such a high-level event is an important step for SUE “Tajikairnavigation” in establishing international cooperation, introducing modern systems and technologies for the provision of air navigation services, improving the qualifications of specialists, and strengthening cooperation. At the same time, this event marks an important step in enhancing the safety and efficiency of air traffic in the Republic of Tajikistan’s airspace and the region as a whole, as well as strengthening international cooperation in the fields of aviation and air navigation.
