DEVELOP TRANSIT FLIGHTS AND TAJIKISTAN ROLE IN INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION DEVELOPMENT

With the initiative of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), in collaboration with the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in Dushanbe is hosting the ICAO EUR Region – Special Coordination Meeting (RDGE-SSM/2025”) that will last up to September 19, 2025.
On the second day of the meeting, the SUE “Tajikairnavigation”, SRE “Kazairnavigation” and the Civil Aviation Administration of the Islamic Republic of Iran presented detailed and analyzed information regarding the strategic action plan and prosperity up to 2035.
The meeting purpose is to strengthen cooperation on organization and improving transit flight, reduce the international flights distance and time, as well as improve safety and efficiency in using the airspace.
As well as the presentation was made by attendees regarding to current situation of aviation infrastructure, airspace flow and reforms in this direction.
At the end, the representative of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) office in Beijing, People’s Republic of China, made a detailed analysis of the transit flight process and their increase via Central Asian airspace. It was stressed that flights from southeastern cities of China, Japan, and Korea to European cities are developing the number and strategic importance, thus creating new economic and technical opportunities to developing countries, such as Tajikistan.
It should be highlighted that conducting such events in the Republic of Tajikistan is a witness to the increasing status and role of the country in the regional and world aviation sector.
