On July 23, 2025 a press conference on the activities of civil aviation and aviation enterprises of the Republic of Tajikistan in the first half of 2025 was conducted with the participation of the Head of the Infrastructure Department of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, management of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, SUE “Tajikairnavigation”, OJSC “Somon Air”, JSC “Tajik Air”, JSC “Dushanbe International Airport” and representatives of domestic and foreign media.

During the press conference, media representatives received specific answers to their questions concerning the implementation of the “open skies” policy in the Republic of Tajikistan, opening of new routes, provision of quality air navigation services, raising the level and quality of service of domestic companies and airports of the country to international standards, increasing transit flights, delivery of new aircrafts, as well as the activities of aviation enterprises of the Republic of Tajikistan.

It should be noted that during this period, SUE “Tajikairnavigation” has fully implemented the project “Performance-Based Navigation (PBN)” in the international airports of Dushanbe, Khujand, Bokhtar and Kulob, and the air traffic controllers of the enterprise, using the relevant flight rules, have increased the level and quality of air navigation services.

In conclusion, the leadership of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan expressed gratitude to the media representatives for fruitful cooperation and expressed the desire to expand further cooperation.
