“In order to comprehensively develop, improve the level and quality of air navigation services, modernize the enterprise material and technical base and transition to new modern international service systems, SUE “Tajikairnavigation” is effectively using existing opportunities. The successful implementation of the “Project on Capacity Development Project for the Implementation of Performance-Based Navigation in the Republic of Tajikistan” in cooperation with the agency, JICA, and a group of IATA consultants, airlines, and aviation enterprises is a confirmation of this statement,” – highlighted  Begijonzoda Loik Begijon, SUE “Tajikairnavigation” General Director at the meeting of the enterprise management and employees with the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Nazarzoda Habibullo Temur, which was conducted on July 15, 2025 in the SUE “Tajikairnavigation”. At the event, which analysed the enterprise activities in the first six months of 2025, it was reported that the enterprise regularly collaborates with various international industry organizations, airlines, and establishes mutually beneficial partnerships with development partners.

 

These initiatives result are organization and conducting the meetings of the enterprise leadership with high-ranking representatives of the Civil Aviation Administration of the People’s Republic of China, organizing the 6^th meeting on the Coordination of communication, navigation and control systems for air traffic management (CNS/ATM) of the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of China between high-ranking representatives of the Civil Aviation Administration of the People’s Republic of China and the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan at the SUE “Tajikairnavigation”, a meeting with representatives of the Civil Aviation of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, and the signing of an Agreement between the Dushanbe ATC of the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” and the Osh Regional ATC of the SE “Kyrgyzairnavigation”.

 

It was reported that during the reporting period, the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” and the enterprise branches at the airports of Khujand, Bokhtar, and Kulob served 26,259 aircraft, which is 7,120 or 21.4% less than in the same period in 2024. During this period, transit flights number amounted to 15,167, which is 6,871, or 31% less than in the same period in 2024. One of the main reasons for the decrease in indicators in the reporting period compared to the same period last year is the decrease in the performance of transit flights by foreign airlines.

 

During the reporting period, according to Action Plans, in order to ensure flight safety and improve the quality of the services provided, a large number of technical works were carried out, including the availability of the Rohde & Schwarz radio station after repairs at the manufacturer’s factory (Germany), the installation of a 25-meter-high antenna mast at the Auxiliary Wave Receiving Center, and the modernization of multi-channel SMART technological data recording equipment in the enterprise branches in Khujand, Bokhtar and Kulob cities.

 

During his speech, Nazarzoda Habibullo Temur emphasized the key role of the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” in providing air navigation services at the required level, according to International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards, training specialists in the field of aviation and air navigation, as well as expanding the geography of flights.

During the meeting, it was noted that the State Unitary Enterprise “Tajikairnavigation” is implementing the necessary measures to implement the instructions and guidance of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, as part of preparations for the 35^th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, to plan and coordinate the use of the republic airspace, to ensure the safety of flights in the airspace of the Republic of Tajikistan, to improve the level and quality of air navigation services, to increase the geography of flights, and to improve the knowledge and skills of specialists.

In conclusion, the activities of the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” in the first six months of 2025 were assessed as satisfactory.
