The eighth meeting of the ICAO ANS Implementation Support Group “ANSISG/8” was conducted in Tbilisi, Georgia, from May 19 to 23, 2025. The meeting was attended by representatives of air navigation service providers from the Republic of Tajikistan, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russian Federation, Turkey and Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of IATA, Eurocontrol and the ICAO Regional Office.

The ANSISG/8 meeting is a key platform for interaction between states and air navigation service providers, where the current issues of coordination between air navigation service providers, implementation of ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPS), and the status of the Modular Adaptor for Modern Air Navigation Service (ICAO ASBU) were discussed.

The specialists exchanged expert opinions on flight safety, analysis and use of the GNSS global satellite navigation system. Special attention was paid to the issues of crisis response in the process of air traffic organization and maintenance, which is especially relevant in the increasingly complex international aviation environment.

It is worth noting that the participation of the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” specialists at this meeting will lay a key foundation for improving air traffic management methods, increasing the level of safety, efficiency, and reliability in the provision of air navigation services.
