In order to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan at a high level and to increase aviation services level and quality, the construction of the air traffic control center and the control tower has been started at SUE “Tajikairnavigation” branch in Khujand city, and nowadays the construction process is continuing based on the plan.

“According to the designed project, construction of the building is planned on 1 ha of land, it consists of a basement, first floor, second floor and control tower. In addition, to build the control tower at a high level and meet the aviation facilities’ construction requirements, necessary measures have been taken, and special attention has been paid to the quality of construction materials”, - mentioned Shodizoda Shohin the branch director.

After commissioning this facility to purchase and installation of air navigation equipment have been planned and will be implemented step by step under enterprise management guidance.

It should be noted that after the completion of the building and control tower construction that is under way in the Khujand International Airport territory which is located in Gafurov town of Bobojon Gafurov district, the employees working conditions will improve, qualitative air navigation services to domestic and foreign flights and flight security will be provided.
