On November 5, 2026, a festive event was hosted dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan at the State Unitary Enterprise “Tajikairnavigation”.
The enterprise management and staff attended the event and shared their perspectives on the Constitution’s historical significance, its role in building a sovereign state, strengthening the legal system, and protecting human rights and freedoms.
Davron Shodmonbekzoda, First Deputy General Director of the enterprise, opened the meeting and, on behalf of the General Director and on his own behalf, sincerely congratulated attendees on this momentous historical date.
During his address, it was emphasized that the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, as the supreme legal document, laid a solid foundation for national statehood, political stability, national unity, and the development of society. Furthermore, the discussion highlighted the pivotal role of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honourable Emomali Rahmon — in strengthening the foundations of modern Tajik statehood and creating the conditions necessary for the adoption of the Constitution.
Then Sharaf Izzatulloev, Head of the Enterprise’s Contractual and Legal Department, delivered the speech. He discussed the history of the Tajikistan Constitution formation and development, outlining key stages in the period of Tajik statehood, including the country’s political and legal situation in the early years of independence. It was underscored that adopting the Constitution on November 6, 1994, is one of the most significant events in the country’s modern history, establishing the framework for state structure, the system of governance, and the primary directions for society development. Furthermore, it was provided information regarding subsequent amendments and additions to the Constitution, as well as the process of aligning its provisions with the requirements of the times.
Continuing the meeting, Husniddin Kholov, Head of the Press Center, delivered a speech regarding Constitution’s role in protecting family values and strengthening the status of the family within society. Referring to Articles 33 and 34 of the Constitution, he noted that the family, as the fundamental unit of society, is under the protection of the state, and that parents bear equal responsibility for the upbringing and education of their children. Furthermore, it was emphasized that respecting parents, properly raising children, protecting the rights and interests of children, and upholding national values are among the most important responsibilities of every family. In this context, it was stressed that understanding and observing the norms of the Constitution should begin in the family and be reflected in the daily life of every citizen.
Subsequently, Shahnoza Qodirova, engineer-meteorologist of the enterprise Aviation Meteorological Center, took the floor and shared her thoughts on the significance of the Constitution in ensuring equal rights for citizens, as well as in creating equal opportunities for professional pursuits and the participation of women in public and professional life. It was noted that fostering favorable conditions for women—while respecting their rights and freedoms—serves as a vital factor in the development of modern society.
Continuing the event, Sabina Dodarjonova, Air Traffic Services Department controller, made a speech about the role of the Constitution in the lives of young people, respect for the law, civic responsibility, and the contribution of each individual to the country’s prosperity and progress. It was mentioned that every young person should be aware of their constitutional rights and obligations, respect the law, and contribute to the development of society through conscientious work.
Overall, the festive meeting took place in a celebratory atmosphere and a spirit of profound patriotism; in their remarks, the participants underscored the importance of the Constitution as the supreme legal document and the guiding framework for the life of society.
It was emphasized that respecting and upholding the Constitution is not merely a legal obligation, but a civic responsibility for every resident of the country. Moreover, safeguarding its values contributes to the strengthening of national statehood, stability, and peace, as well as to a bright future for Tajikistan.
