On August 26, during his working trip to Khatlon Province, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, launched the operation of three new factories of LLC "Innovative Industrial and Technological Park of Levakant" in the city of Levakant.
The factories producing road marking paint, detergent raw materials, and innovative furniture were built as part of constructive measures to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and are considered a practical example of the development of domestic production, the use of modern technologies, and the creation of new jobs.
The new production facilities are located on a total area of 2.8 hectares, and their construction work began in October 2025.
During the construction work, temporary jobs were created for 100 local residents, and after the start of operations, 60 permanent jobs were created.
One of the important areas of activity of the new factories is the production of powder paint for horizontal lines of highways.
During the acquaintance with the activities of the factory, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, paid special attention to the production process, its technical capabilities and product quality.
The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the production capacity of this factory is 15 tons per month, making it the first specialized factory for the production of horizontal lines of highways in the country. Raw materials will be fully supplied from within the country.
Previously, most of these products and raw materials were imported from abroad. Now their production within the country will allow the road construction industry to meet its needs for domestic products and reduce dependence on imports.
Most importantly, the use of high-quality paints for horizontal road markings contributes to increasing the level of traffic safety. Clear lines that are resistant to environmental factors help drivers and other road users, especially at night and in adverse weather conditions, to correctly determine the direction of movement.
Another production plant produces raw materials for detergents. The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the production capacity of this plant is 10 tons per month, and 70 percent of its powder is produced domestically.
Domestic production of raw materials creates a basis for the development of enterprises producing soap and other detergents, and allows a greater part of the final products to be presented to the market using domestically produced raw materials.
The third plant is engaged in the production of innovative furniture, using modern equipment and devices, producing various furniture products.
The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the production capacity of the factory is 2,000 square meters per month. Here, the production of various types of household items, tables and chairs for the home and office, bedroom wardrobes, and other furniture products is established.
The products of each of the three factories are manufactured in accordance with modern requirements, contributing to the provision of the domestic market with domestic products and reducing the volume of imports of similar goods.
It is worth noting that previously, part of the raw materials necessary for the production of such products was imported from abroad. Now, after the start of operations of the new factories, it has become possible to establish the production of a number of raw materials and necessary products within the country.
While getting acquainted with the activities of the factories, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, visited the main production sectors and paid attention to the technological process, product quality, the level of training of specialists, and the possibilities of expanding production capacity.
It was emphasized that the development of the processing industry, the use of modern technologies, the increase in the production of competitive products, and the provision of the domestic market with domestic products are important areas of the country's economic policy.
