On July 9, 2026, the 65th meeting of the Interstate Council on Radio Navigation was hosted in Minsk, Republic of Belarus.
The meeting was attended by authorized members of the Council from Republic of Tajikistan, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Russian Federation, and representatives of the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Republic of Tajikistan was represented at this event by the State Unitary Enterprise “Tajikairnavigation”.
The meeting participants considered the results of the meeting of national state customers of the CIS member states on the Interstate Radio Navigation Program of the CIS member states for 2023–2026, which was held on July 8, 2026.
During the meeting, the Report on the activities of the Interstate Council “Radio Navigation” for 2022-2025 was approved, organizational issues related to the implementation of the Interstate Radio Navigation Program of the CIS Member States for 2027-2030, coordination of work on the integration between the state automated information systems for emergency calls in case of accidents and disasters “ERA-GLONASS” and “EVAK”, as well as the tasks facing the Interstate Technical Committee “Radio Navigation” (ITC 522) in preparing proposals for the Interstate Standardization Program for 2027 were discussed.
The decisions made at the meeting are aimed at the further development, strengthening, and effectively use of the radio navigation infrastructure of the CIS Member States.
The next meeting of the Interstate Council “Radio Navigation” is scheduled for the first decade of December 2026 in Moscow, Russian Federation.
It should be highlighted that on November 19, 2025, in Dushanbe, with the initiative of the State Unitary Enterprise “Tajikairnavigation” meeting of national state customers of the CIS member states on the Interstate Radio navigation Program of the CIS member states for 2023-2026 and the 64th meeting of the Interstate Radio Navigation Council was organized and successfully held. The holding of such a high-level event once again demonstrated the growing role and contribution of the Republic of Tajikistan in the development of the regional air navigation system and the strengthening of international cooperation in this area.
