A grand festive event was held in the OJSC “Tajik Air” hall dedicated to the 29th anniversary of National Unity Day.
The ceremonial meeting was attended by the leadership of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the general directors of the State Unitary Enterprise “Tajikairnavigation”, OJSC “Dushanbe International Airport”, OJSC “Tajik Air”, LLC “Somon Air”, LLC “Shohin Airlines”, as well as civil aviation veterans, employees, and specialists of the field.
During the event, it was emphasized that National Unity is one of the greatest historical achievements of the Republic of Tajikistan’s independence, that it is precisely thanks to this that a favorable foundation has been created for strengthening statehood, sustainable economic and social development, ensuring peace and stability, and enhancing the country’s international prestige.
Following the event, the heads of the country’s enterprises and airlines delivered congratulatory speeches, recalling the crucial importance of the National Unity in the development and progress of the state, strengthening state independence, and advancing all sectors of the national economy. The speakers emphasized that it is precisely in an atmosphere of complete peace and stability that Tajikistan’s civil aviation sector is developing today, creating new opportunities for expanding international cooperation and industry development.
In his speech, Loik Begijonzoda, State Unitary Enterprise “Tajikairnavigation” General Director, highlighted that Tajikistan’s unique experience in peacebuilding and the constructive policies of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Honourable Emomali Rahmon, are now recognized by the international community as a successful example of ensuring peace, stability, and national unity.
In their speeches, civil aviation veterans also recalled the achievements of the years of independence, the unprecedented development of the aviation industry, and the significant changes that have occurred as a result of peace and national unity. They also invited youth to love their homeland, maintain peace and unity, be loyal to the state, and contribute to the development of the country’s aviation industry.
At the conclusion of the event, participants praised National Unity Day as a symbol of unity, mutual understanding, peace, and stability, as well as an important factor in the sustainable development of the Republic of Tajikistan. They expressed confidence that, thanks to the constructive efforts of the country’s people and the wise policies of its top leadership, Tajikistan will continue to move toward development and prosperity confidently.
