On October 28-29, 2025, a technical meeting was held in Dushanbe between representatives of the State Unitary Enterprise “Tajikairnavigation” and the delegation of the Air Traffic Management Bureau of the Xinjiang-Uyghur Region of the People’s Republic of China. The event focused on the further development of bilateral cooperation, the improvement of existing air traffic service route networks, and the organization of specialized training courses for employees of the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” of the Republic of Tajikistan in aviation training centers of the People’s Republic of China.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the prospects for cooperation between Tajikistan and China in the field of air navigation. Special attention was paid to the opportunities for improving existing air traffic service routes, which will contribute to increasing the safety and efficiency of flights in the region. The participants also exchanged views on the prospects for developing aviation infrastructure and implementing new technologies in air traffic management.
One of the main points of the meeting was the discussion of organizing training courses for Tajik air navigation specialists at aviation training centers in China. This area of cooperation will allow Tajik specialists to get acquainted with the best practices and the latest technologies used in Chinese air navigation proving centers. Implementation of joint educational projects will contribute to the high-quality training of Tajik specialists and, as a result, to ensuring greater flight safety in the country and the region.
After the meeting, the parties expressed mutual interest in strengthening and developing their partnership. It is expected that the implementation of the agreements reached will not only contribute to the improvement of Tajikistan’s air navigation infrastructure but also strengthen the country’s status in the international air navigation system.
The meeting was held in a constructive and working atmosphere, which showed that both sides are seriously interested in developing bilateral cooperation. The implementation of joint air navigation projects will be another important step towards strengthening friendly relations between Tajikistan and China. The cooperation prospects are aimed at strengthening the partnership between Tajikistan and China in the field of navigation, implementing joint projects to improve navigation infrastructure, and exchanging experience and technologies between specialists from both countries. It is worth noting that this meeting has become important stage in the development of bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of China in the field of air navigation.
