On August 7, 2025, a meeting was held between the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan - Nazarzoda Habibullo Temur with the Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Turkey Kemal Yüksek and the management of “Turkish Airlines”, “Anadolu Jet” and “Pegasus Airlines”.
At this meeting, issues of opening flights on the Ankara-Dushanbe, Ankara-Khujand, Antalya-Dushanbe routes (in the summer season), as well as increasing the number of flights on the Istanbul-Dushanbe route were discussed.
During the meeting, the Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Turkey stated that, in light of the upcoming audit of the civil aviation industry of the Republic of Tajikistan by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Turkey is ready to cooperate on matters related to the exchange of experience in aviation safety, licensing, process digitalization, as well as training of personnel for the civil aviation industry. We are confident that such meetings will make a meaningful contribution to the development of our country’s civil aviation industry.
